Kaluha

2003 Percheron Cross mare.  Kaluha was a compact horse that stood right at 16 hands. We started Kaluha as a coming 4 year old.  She was one of the easiest horses I have ever started under saddle.  I was riding her down the ditch bank bareback with only 9 rides.  She was very lazy and took some effort from her rider, but she was very fun.  I enjoyed this horse a ton while pregnant as she was very safe and just a pleasure to ride by herself.  I sold Kaluha in the fall of 2007 to a great family who have made her a 4-H horse for their grand daughter, but also a nice trail partner for grandpa.

UPDATE - We borrowed Kaluha for 2010 horse camp.  We used Kaluha as our vaulting horse.  SHE DID AMAZING! Thank you to her new owners who let us borrow her for a week of fun!  Updated pictures on horse camp page!  This is a wonderful horse and I am so proud to be able to still have a part in her life.  Thanks Kaluha!
